We then let David take us on a counter-argument destroying rampage where he undermines everyone else's arguments in order to strengthen his own. What's he arguing? That Consciousness does not depend on the physical laws of the universe and cannot be explained by them either!

We then provide a topsy-turvy counterexample claiming that the cosmos actually emerges from consciousness. Oh, and we sprinkle in a bunch of interesting facts about the Proto-Indo-European peoples, language and religion.

In this episode Chris continues reading the essays he wrote when first exploring starting a podcast. We talk about the development of the eye from single-celled organisms to our very own peepers; we discuss the phenomenal qualities of our subjective experience that do not seem to be found "in the world," but rather within ourselves. We ask the question: If a tree falls in the forest with no one around to hear it, does it make a sound? And we try to answer it.
