In this episode Kyle and Chris celebrate 1 year of podcasting. We had a gang of guests lined up to join, who all promptly bailed on us in the last minute. We made the best of it though and even had a girl on the podcast. Sexism, Schmexism. We talked 90's television, Jordan Peterson (of course), Rogan vs Spotify, Hillary Clinton, professional wrestling and much, much more.

S1E84 - Varieties of Religious Experience (Solo)

In this episode Chris compliments the description of his own mystic experience from Episode 83 with a whole bunch more from history. We delve into William James' The Varieties of Religious Experience, point out that William James had a mystic experience of his own--courtesy of medically administered nitrous oxide (did you know that)--and conclude that the mystic experience may be "the truest of insight into the meaning of this life."
