The Two Tongues Podcast explores the most interesting topics that aren't "fit" for popular consumption (or polite dinner conversation). Here you will find honest, unfiltered and unedited conversation between two life-long friends on the state of the world as we see it; politics, religion, mind-altering substances, psychology and philosophy are fair game. Let the fun begin!

S1E42 - Ancient Greece...more mystic than you think
Wednesday Jul 28, 2021
Wednesday Jul 28, 2021
In this episode Chris opened up Pandora's Box, so to speak, by trying to summarize the contributions of the Pre-Socratic philosophers to Plato's ideas. What he found instead was a treasure trove of mystic experiences (perhaps psychedelic) and reflections on the nature of God that scream of mystic intuition. What's more, is they rest as the foundations of all of the modern Western tradition!
Enjoy :)
